Support shaped around you.

I help people make sense of their stress, their anxiety, and their relationship with drugs and alcohol. And I don't only work with addiction — if stress or worry is what brought you here, you're in the right place too.

What a session looks like

We start by getting to know your world.

Early on, I'll want to hear about what's been stressing you, what's been worrying you, and how you've been getting through it so far — no judgment, just understanding. From there we'll build a plan together: one that helps you move past what's weighing on you and lean into coping skills that actually steady you.

You don't need to have the right words ready. We'll figure it out as we go.

Sessions run 50 minutes. You can find session fees and insurance details on the contact page.

Areas of focus

Where I can walk alongside you.

Stress

When day-to-day pressure builds up faster than you can set it down.

I can help you work through stress that comes from:

  • Life transitions
  • Pressure from your own goals
  • Self-conflict
  • Stressful or difficult life events
  • Work
  • Family conflict
  • Relationship problems
  • Perfectionism

Anxiety

For the worry that loops, tightens, and makes it hard to feel settled.

I can help if you are experiencing anxiety from:

  • Trauma from current or past events, or abuse
  • Overwhelming, worried thoughts
  • Obsessive thoughts
  • Panic attacks

Drug and alcohol use

A judgment-free space to understand the role substances play for you.

I can help you understand why you use substances — for example, to:

  • Fill a void in your life
  • Wind down after a long day
  • Reach a state of calm or happiness
  • Cope through learned family patterns or inherited addiction

Not sure where you fit? That's okay — hardly anyone arrives with it all figured out. Send me a note and we'll find your starting point together.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

A gentler way through the memories that still hurt.

Some things stay with us. A memory resurfaces uninvited, your body tenses before you even know why, and talking it through again and again can feel like reliving it. Accelerated Resolution Therapy offers another way in.

ART is a research-supported approach that pairs simple back-and-forth eye movements with your own imagination to help your mind settle distressing memories and images. It draws on well-established therapy techniques, and many people are surprised by how much lighter they feel after only a few sessions.

1

We get comfortable

You bring to mind what’s been troubling you. You stay awake, aware, and fully in control the whole time — nothing happens that you don’t choose.

2

We use gentle eye movements

You follow my hand with your eyes in a smooth back-and-forth motion, a bit like what your eyes do naturally during dream sleep. This helps ease the physical stress that comes with the memory.

3

We replace the picture

Then you swap the distressing images for ones you choose. You keep the facts of what happened — what changes is how tightly it holds on to you.

Why people appreciate it

  • Many people feel a real shift in just a few sessions
  • You don’t have to describe the details out loud
  • You keep your memories — the sting is what fades
  • No homework to take home between sessions
  • You stay in control from start to finish

Who it tends to help most

  • Trauma or PTSD, recent or long ago
  • Memories or images that keep resurfacing
  • Anxiety, panic, and phobias
  • Grief and loss
  • Anyone who wants relief without retelling the story
  • Substance use, when cravings are tied to past experiences

Curious whether ART might be a good fit for you? There's no commitment in asking — send me a note and I'll walk you through what it would look like.
